It is important that your child practices their reading at home. This can include reading to you, a younger relative, reading independently (books or online books), and always includes discussing their reading. Below are helpful links that you and your child can use at home.

There are links (in green) to several strategies and helpful tips. Some of these include: questions to ask before, during, after reading; choosing just right books; finding books on your child's level; and other ways to support your child. Read Theory - This website gives students reading passages on their level and comprehension questions to answer after the reading. Students have their log in information and can access this from anywhere.
